New Beginnings Worship

NBCC is a place of invitation. Our community is not limited to those who attend the services regularly, but is open to our surrounding area. If you feel led to attend our worship service, or to be a part of our worship team, we would love to have you join us.

Our Worship Vision

Our goal is to CONSISTENTLY deliver a time of passionate and intimate worship that is EDIFYING to the body of christ, and all persons within our surrounding community.

Our Worship Mission

Our desire to model this vision of worship is carried out through several movements we seek to apply in every service. These are listed in the following steps featured below.

  1. Rejoicing

    • The Psalms portray a sense of vibrancy as they declare the glory of God and his goodness, even in hardship. No matter what season of life, we want to mirror this posture in worship by choosing to always rejoice in the Lord (Philippians 4:4).

  2. Repenting

    • It is important that we have a time of praise; but it is equally as important that there be moments of repentance. We want to allow space in worship for the Holy Spirit to move in our hearts toward healing through a time of confession and prayer.

  3. Reconciling

    • The Scriptures proclaim that "if we confess our sins” to Jesus, then "he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and purify us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). The movement into reconciliation is thus the natural progression in worship. As we come before the Lord in a time of confession, we also want to understand and take hold of the reconciling nature of Christ’s forgiveness that is available to “everyone who believes” (Romans 1:16).

  4. Recognizing

    • God’s wisdom is applied to those who intentionally seek Him (Proverbs 2). Through the blending of traditional hymns and contemporary worship, we seek to lift our voices in search of the discernment and understanding that only comes from the Lord (Proverbs 2:3). Classic hymns hold timeless truth of God that transcend their time and context. This makes them a crucial part of our time together, and an excellent way to recognize the truth of the Gospel in our lives.

  5. Revitalizing

    • The Holy Spirit has fallen upon those who have placed their trust in Christ (Acts 1:8). Within this outpouring, we recognize that God empowers believers to do the things He has called us to do, and to live the lives He has called us to live. As we lift our hearts to the Lord in this movement, our goal is to point to the Holy Spirit’s strength for all who are weary, and to encourage faithfulness in the lives God has called each of us to boldly live.
