Tech Ministry

spread the Gospel through technology

How do we do this?

We actively support all ministries and programs of the Church needing technical elements. We also enhance the worship experience through audio, visual, and lighting solutions.

Ministry Description

The Tech Ministry requires an elevated level of commitment but gives great satisfaction to our team members. To serve in this ministry, some technical knowledge may be necessary but don’t worry, training is available.

We deliver the Word through audio-visual media and provide direction for all equipment used during worship services or other scheduled church functions. The Tech ministry is responsible for microphones, the sound board used for adjusting sound quality, audio and video livestreaming, editing, and publication of worship and other church events, TV and DVD use for classes, and portable equipment such as projectors and sound systems. We establish a standard of excellence in these areas.

Our goal is to use all aspects of technology to reach out to the world. We equip other ministries of the church to expand the reach of the Gospel, and we assist the church body in turning spiritual seekers into fully developed followers of Christ.

Additionally, we:

  • Create, promote, and maintain the church website as a primary communication tool

  • Expand the use of the church website as the face of NBCC to our members, our community, and the world

  • Serve as the primary technology support personnel for the Church

  • Ensure all hardware and software used by NBCC is maintained and fully functional

  • Ensure good stewardship of the church’s resources through strategic planning of technology investments as well as securing donated resources

  • Support the use of wired & wireless networking

  • Develop and implement overall strategies and techniques for social media

“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer…All the believers were together and had everything in common…Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved” (Acts 2:42-47)
